Scope of Work

Nice needed a full in-store fit-out for its cookware and kitchenware department that could organize a wide, mixed-brand product range, own-label lines like Alberto and Pentola alongside branded sets like Betty Crocker, into a space that felt merchandised rather than simply stacked stock, while still letting boxed cartons double as part of the floor display for promotional pricing, and giving premium hero pieces their own dedicated presentation separate from the bulk stock.

UPC designed, fabricated and installed a full millwork package for the department: a continuous wall-mounted open-cubby shelving system in warm wood tones running the length of the back wall for open-stock cookware display; a three-tier rotating circular display tower with wood dividers for smaller accent pieces; and a run of white cube plinths and low wood-and-metal tables at varying heights for merchandising premium cookware and pressure-cooker ranges. Floor space around the fixtures was left open for bulk-boxed sets, which stayed part of the promotional layout rather than being routed to a stockroom.

A cohesive, mixed-format retail department that displays open stock, boxed promotions, and premium hero pieces in the same space without visual clutter: wall shelving for volume, cube plinths and tables for premium items, and open floor space for bulk boxed sets doing double duty as both stock and merchandising.
